State Department Releases Annual Report on Global Terrorism Lists Iran As TOP State Sponsor of Terror
June 3, 2016 – Tonia Khouri, candidate for Illinois’ 11 th congressional district, today called on Bill Foster to cease his unyielding support of the Administration’s disastrous and dangerous deal made with Iran freeing up additional money that will end up in the pockets of terrorists intent on killing American citizens and soldiers at home and abroad.

“I never cease to be amazed at Bill Foster’s ignorance of the facts that lead him to support bad policies such as the Administration’s deal to free up money that will be used against innocent civilians and our
military while they work to confront the terrorists,” said Khouri. “It is appalling to me that Bill Foster didn’t change his mind on this issue even after Secretary of State Kerry’s admission in January that some of this money would ‘end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,’ referring to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps,” said Khouri. “In Congress, I will fight to hold extremist regimes accountable and to provide the absolute support of our federal government for the men and women willing to lay down their lives for our Nation.”
